‘Who Shot Sergeant Kirwan’. This is a unique production which we hope will be particularly supported from across the rural communities and further afield.
The cast is drawn from across the rural community and many of the cast are relations of people who played a part on the day. Lockie Donnelly is among those who will be making his Acting Debut in the Film!
Fingal Old IRA Commemorative Society 1916-1921, have produced the film which is funded under the Clár éire Ildánach Creative Ireland Programme 2017-2022.
The Cinema will be located at the rear of Ballyboughal National School in an open sided marquee (Covid Compliant). It will have three showings on both Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th August, at 12pm 3pm & 6pm, each accommodating 100 patrons.
The film runs for circa 45 minutes and due to the generous sponsorship of Fingal County Council.
