BBGFC Club Notes – Jan 4th 2021

A Chairde,

In this week’s Ballyboughal GFC News;
  • More great work done over the Xmas Holidays at the Clubhouse! Wiring for new Floodlights and finishing off some work for the Pillars for the new Entrance. Thanks to everyone for their continued support and work in making sure the club continues to get bigger and better for all our existing and new members! 🇳🇬💚🇳🇬💚🇳🇬
  • Just a reminder that the walkway is open in the club as we all try to kick start our New Year Resolutions and escape from the madness of another Lockdown. We would ask that anyone using the track keeps their distance from others, allow runners to overtake, do not bring any dogs on the track, and pick up any litter you find on your walk and drop in to the bins at the clubhouse. For those interested in keeping track of your walks here are the measurements of the small track and the New Large Track; Large track 650m (Clubhouse start and finish). Short track 450m (Clubhouse start and finish). Safe walking and please stay safe!
  • The BBGFC Xmas Draw took place today and there were 30 winners in total. Please see attached the list of winners. Everyone will be contacted directly by our Committee to claim your prize!
    The club draw has been the most successful Xmas Draw in the clubs history and we would like to say firstly a massive thank you to everyone that bought a ticket and sold a ticket! This will be a huge boost to the club in an already tough year in 2020!
    Secondly a massive thanks to all the Sponsors that donated some really great prizes. Without your support there wouldn’t be much to give away!
    And finally a huge thank you to the Club Committee, Volunteers and all those involved in the Raffle, especially Danny McGill, who has put huge work into making this our most successful Draw to date!
    We wish everyone a Happy New Year and congrats again to all our winners. Every ticket sold will now go into the GAA National Draw ticket where you have the chance of winning a brand new car among hundreds of other prizes so fingers crossed for that too 🤞
