BBGFC Club Notes – May 14th 2019

In this week’s Ballyboughal GFC News;
  • Our Ladies team beat Portobello 5.22 – 1.13 last week in the Championship and march on to take on Croi Ro Naofa at 7.30pm in Ballyboughal on Wednesday (May 15th). All support greatly appreciated.
  • Our Men’s 2nd Team lost out narrowly last week to Fionnbarrs and Kilmacud Crokes. Hard luck lads and thanks to all involved and the supporters as usual.
  • Our Men’s 1st Team beat St Pats, Palmerstwon on Wednesday before an epic game on Sunday morning in Lusk in which saw our lads come out the winners in a brilliant match (3.15 – 2.14). Thanks to the Massive Support from our supporters who outnumbered the Lusk suporters big time.
  • Congratulations to the U12s St Peters team who reached the final of the Kilmacud Crokes invitational tournament….. and DREW with Austin Stacks (Kerry). Both teams shook hands and shared the spoils. Amazing performance by the boys!
  • Special mention to the coaches of the U.10’s team; Tony, Darren, Ken, Zita and Neal for taking the time out on Saturday to bring the lads on a trip to Croke Park. Hopefully we see a few wear the famous blue jersey here some day.
  • Dont foget to play the club lotto online, in the local shops and pubs and have your chance to win over €5,000.
