BBGFC Club Notes – Nov 1st 2022

A Chairde,

In this week’s Ballyboughal GFC News;

  • Club Lotto!! Your support is what keeps the Club running and developing year after year! Play today online to win a massive €8,250!
  • Reggie Callanan has today confirmed his retirement from managing the Ballyboughal 2nd Team. Ballyboughal GFC would like to thank Reggie for his commitment over the last number of years. We wish him all the best for the future, we are sure he’ll be picked up by a high profile team like the Dubs or maybe take the vacant Roscommon Job 😉 you will be missed Reggie, plenty of great memories including the Snacks at all of your matches, and the very welcome Free Bar after a Win 😂😉💚🤍
  • A big thanks to the coaches of our u7s for a fantastic Halloween training session yesterday. Niamh McNamara, Trish McGill, Jonny Smyth, Paul Rigney, Ian Farrell lead a gang of scary kids (even more scary than usual!!!) to enjoy a session of games, doughnut eating, and searching for sweets in a brain and guts box!! A special mention to Peter McNamara who did a great job hanging the doughnuts and an even better job to keep Dermot Devaney from eating them!! 🤣 👷🏻🚧 Maintenance Work 🚧👷🏻
  • Please note that there is Maintenance Work happening this week in which our new Floodlights are being setup on the New Pitch. This will affect the Walkway and we ask that everyone be extra vigilant and stay away from all machinery and works being done during this time! We hope to have the work all wrapped up shortly and we appreciate your patience as we look to improve our facilities again with brilliant Floodlights being installed for those Dark Winter Nights!
  • Congrats to our neighbours and Underage friends (St Peters) @garristowngfc who won the Junior Championship Final today!
    Enjoy the celebrations and great to see the Indian has joined you guys for a few pints 🍺 a brilliant tradition in Fingal that tends to mean more than the actual Cup 🤣
  • 🏃🏻🇳🇬 Social Membership Available 🇳🇬🏃🏻 We hope everyone has been enjoying the new facilities at the Club this past year.
