BBGFC Club Notes – Nov 9th 2020

A Chairde,

In this week’s Ballyboughal GFC News;
  • BBGFC are now selling Club Face Masks and you can purchase your mask for just €5 from Mace Shop and The Brew Coffee Shop. These masks are flying out the door so dont delay and get down and get yours now.
  • We dont usually have many people in the village on D’Telly, but after binge watching the new RTE One show; DIY SOS Ireland, we felt it would be unjust not to mention the tremendous work that local man @peterdonegan has put into changing peoples lives. Peter as we all know is a landscaper in the village, and in the show has been building childrens space ships, creating eco friendly gardens and bringing so much joy to special needs children and families that need it most! If you havent watched the show yet, then we suggest you get on it (but have the tissues at the ready as it’s a real tear jerker). Congratulations on the new show Peter and keep up the good work, from all at Ballyboughal GFC! 🇳🇬👏
  • The club want to thank everyone that got involved on Sat & Sun and helped out in some capacity to get the new Pipes laid around the pitch, the clubhouse painted and a few other jobs. The place is looking great!
    A huge thanks to Lockie and Tom for their digger work from sunrise to sunset without break! The club is looking great and there are huge plans in place for the future of our expanding club and community!
  • Covid 19 is not gone away yet, so please continue to adhere to the Return to Play Guidelines laid out by the GAA and by your team mentors.
  • Are you new to the area and want to use the Club’s Walking Track and Outdoor Gym Equipment?! Well now you can, simply register online on the link below for a Social Memebership. • The MFC Club Shop is now closed for Xmas Orders but we do hope to have another shop open in January if you missed out this time around.
  • Ballyboughal GFC are saddened to hear of the passing of Miriam Tormey in recent days. We send our thoughts and prayers to our friends in Oldtown and in poarticular Eugene and the Tormey Family!
